This is the Mill around 1960, the bulk of the pulp logs are being brought into the mill on rail cars, both boxcars and pulpwood cars.
Here is the lower mill circa, 1950s, the power plant is coal fired. The coal pile can be seen on the right side of the photo. Unloading is being done with crane.

The covered loading dock tracks, this 2-aspect signal was used to inform crews when the cars were ready to pull out.
The conveyor from the wood room to the digester building carried freshly de-barked 4-foot pulp logs. The main track into the mill switchbacks passed under this.
International Paper at one time had its own Industial switcher and engine house to keep out of the elements.
